                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VARIOUS STREETS IN THE GLENWOOD
                   AREA, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON
                   THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 1992 FROM 5:30 P.M.
                   TO 7:00 P.M. FOR "THE VERY SPECIAL ARTS
                   FESTIVAL RETRO RUN" SPONSORED BY THE ORANGE
                   GROVE CENTER, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the northbound traffic lane of Dodson Avenue 

       between 3rd Street and Blackford Street, the temporary closure of 

       Blackford Street between Dodson Avenue and Arlington Avenue, the
       temporary closure of Arlington Avenue between Blackford Street 
and
       Citico Avenue, the temporary closure of the eastbound lane of
       Citico Avenue between Arlington Avenue and Derby Street, the
       temporary closure of the southbound traffic lane of Derby Street
       between Citico Avenue and 3rd Street and the temporary closure of 

       the westbound curb lane of 3rd Street between Derby Street and
       Warner Park on Thursday, September 17, 1992 from 5:30 p.m. to 
7:00
       p.m. for the presentation of "The Very Special Arts Festival 
Retro
       Run and Walk" under the sponsorship of the Orange Grove Center
       provided that the sponsor shall set out traffic cones, flasher
       barricades, and warning signs in accordance with the traffic

       control plan attached hereto and shall provide, at all times, an
       access lane for emergency and residential vehicles.
